Set within the original fireplace, a wood burning stove exudes warmth in the chillier months, enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa. Take a seat and relax with a book in hand or settle into the windowseat and watch the world go by as your favourite melodies set the soundtrack from the Echo Dot. For evening entertainment, make use of the Smart TV and disappear into silver screen moments over bowls of buttery popcorn.
Eating and dining
Curate delicious dishes with the finest Somerset produce in Manuka's beautiful kitchen. With bespoke cabinetry in sage and copper tones, this welcoming space is finished with smooth lines, elegant curves. Prepare flavoursome feasts with a backdrop of garden views, ready to savour morning lattes and dreamy dinner dates in the adjoining dining area, arranged with a cosy, vintage corner banquette. For a taste of alfresco dining, sit outside on the terrace with nibbles and a glass of something chilled in hand.
Outdoor space
Step outside from the kitchen to uncover Manuka's tranquil terrace. A serene space garlanded in greenery and home to an outdoor table and chairs for two, this sheltered nook is idyllic for alfresco aperitifs and gentle pauses in sunlit quietude. A thermostatic outdoor shower can be enjoyed by our 4 legged family after long walks up Ham Hill in the totally enclosed courtyard.
Sleeping and bathing
At the centre, a king size bed is draped in the finest 100% cotton linens and topped with cushions and throws, framed by floating shelves and botanical artwork. A vintage dressing table sits below an ornate, French giltwood-style mirror, while a windowside armchair offers somewhere to lounge awhile.
A freestanding, copper rolltop bath rests in the corner of the bedroom, perfect for bubble-topped soaks during leisurely days. Meanwhile, an ensuite bathroom proposes serene self-care rituals with marble hues and a walk-in shower.

Children and Pets
A baby is most welcome at Manuka. Please bring your own equipment with you. Manuka welcomes one dog (Large breeds are also welcome as are two small or medium, however please contact prior to booking). Dog bowls and a welcome pack are provided and there is a heated outdoor shower in the courtyard. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
